A MAGICAL WEDDING AMONG VINEYARDS
Love from Manchester
The Hotel San Prudentzio in Getaria and its natural place, surrounded by vineyards, conquered all those attending the wedding and myself. It was full summer and the afternoon / evening was amazing. Very pleasant temperatures and a light that at the same time that fell it improved at times. A couple with attitude, excited, wanting to have fun. The combination of all these ingredients made the wedding perfect.
We arrived at the hotel with time to calmly check the stages and plan the times. In this case, I was accompanied by Eneko, a good friend who helped me with my lazy English, he also helped me carry the equipment, thanks Eneko! There we met Laura Satué, the weddingplanner in charge of organizing the wedding, making the final touches. As always, a pleasure to work with Laura. It never ceases to amaze me with every proposal that makes me. And with this wedding, she surpassed herself.
The whole staff at the hotel was really lovely with us from minute one, so everything was very simple. We started to contact with the guests and the relatives until we got to Susie’s room, crowded with people, friends, hairdresser … etc. She was relatively calm and we began to collect the first images of the day. In Natural way, as I like it. After, the first photos to the groom. Louis was not as calm as Susie but she accepted the situation and we managed to take interesting pictures.
Everything was ready for the ceremony to start, decorated to the last detail in a spectacular setting. The officiant, a friend of the couple, made the guests wait. It was the first time I saw that an officiant made the bride wait. You know, usually it’s always the bride that makes everyone else wait. The ceremony was fun, many anecdotes were told and everything flowed with humor. There was joy and energy overflowed.
After the ceremony, I had to kidnap the couple for a few minutes to make them portraits. As I have repeated on other occasions, every time I give less importance to what is called «wedding couple session», in fact I am interested very little. Still, I like to make beautiful portraits. Luckily, a few meters away we had a lot of spaces to make very good pictures.
It was a success, as I always repeat, focusing everything in one place. Ceremony, portraits and food. There is more time for everything. After cocktail, we went to the tent where the tables were mounted. After almost an hour of speeches, dinner began and after dinner and at night, the party. A success this magical wedding. Thank you very much for all, Susie and Louis, you are extraordinary. An honor to have been the chosen to tell your story.
UNA BODA MÁGICA ENTRE VIÑEDOS
Love from Manchester
